Our shop was founded in 1957 by Duard Bessent, an experienced autobody craftsman and painter with a strong desire to flourish. Here he operated a quality oriented and successful body shop for 25 years. In 1982 at 62 years of age he retired and sold his business to us. With the support of Mr. Bessent, our business quickly began growing by continuing the tradition of quality repairs, word of mouth and the addition of knowledgeable and skilled people to the organization. Sustained growth brought innovation and advanced repair techniques and the necessity to increase the square footage of the shop until all space to build was gone. In 1986, to continue the momentum and excitement in our company, we moved 5 blocks to a property large enough to house a new collision repair center and allow for future growth. In 1987 we started operating at our new location and today our collision repair center is 23000 sq feet and still growing.

      We have been represented on the board of the Virginia Autobody Association, Crewe-Burkeville Chamber of Commerce and Blackstone Chamber of Commerce. We are a current member of the Washington Metropolitan Body Shop Association, The Society of Collision Repair Specialists, National Auto Body Council, Automotive Service Association, National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), The Crewe-Burkeville Chamber of Commerce, The Blackstone Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. We were voted Business of the Year for 1993 by the Crewe-Burkeville Chamber of Commerce. We are also proud to have earned the prestigious I-CAR Gold Class status and equally proud of our ASE Blue Seal status by having over 75% certification of technicians in their respective fields.
